Cleartext Point 193

go to page: 2 3 4 5 6 7

Christians could change this world - but because

their deeds and works are missing, it doesn't happen !

Preachers often claim:

"The deeds and works come by themselves in Christian faith."

But, is this really the truth ?

First, I would like to recommend the important cleartext point 187. Its title:
Why is there so much talk of deeds and works in the cleartext information
on my homepage ?

To make the topic clear to you, I repeat the headline, followed by a short calculation example, which should either break your heart -
Or you should be in tears of pain and sadness.
It is incredibly embarrassing to call oneself "Christian" because this designation is abused and smeared by innumerable passive
Name-Christians (see cleartext point 098).

The title of the following cleartext point is:

Christians could change this world - but because
their deeds and works are missing, this doesn't happen !

And now the painful calculation example that clarifies and proves you that unfortunately, very few Christians perpetrate the word:

If all the people who call themselves Christians would do,
what Jesus Christ taught us, no one on this earth would starve.

There are about 2 billion Christians worldwide.

And there are about 1 billion people worldwide who are starving and thirsting.

On two so-called "Christians" comes one person, who is not -
Or only insufficiently supported.

Is that in the sense of the Lord's - is that Christianity ?

If we want to support the hungry people sustainably, then we should first take care to save them from starvation -
But at the same time also provide them with guidance and material help, by which they can permanently escape the famine through "self-aid".

You will find information about this when you click in the alphabetical search terms on:
reputable aid organisations.

How is it possible that we have millions of starvation deaths every year in this world if 2 billion Christians supposedly emphasise charity (brotherly love) ?

Why aren't two Christians unable to help one starving person by sharing and personal resignation ?

The answer is hard - but true to the facts:

Because many who hypocritically call themselves "Christians" are closest to themselves.
They like to dine in the restaurant, celebrate at parties, are barely able to live without their mobile phone, travel, pursue their hobbies, shop extensively and enjoy life -
While elsewhere countless people are starving and dying of misery.

And on Sunday, these "Christians" go to their church to sing pious songs.

They give alms for the poor - but only when there is something
left of their abundance. Personal renunciation to be able to help even more intensively - that is a foreign word to them, they don't want to hear.

And exactly for this reason, preachers of the half-truths only use the word resignation very reluctantly, because the majority of the "Christians" gave them the following assignment:

"... Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:"
(Isaiah 30/10)

Sermons on the grace and mercy of the Lord are
more popular among the audience than admonitory words.

(In cleartext point 137 you can read under what conditions
the Lord is indeed merciful and compassionate to us.)

Unfortunately, most preachers are unwilling to "shake" their "sheep" in the churches. They do not dare to point out their listeners (or readers) with clear words, that every Christian as should go through life as a perpetrator of the Word. Instead, they prefer to talk about grace and mercy - because that's exactly what people want to hear because it goes down like honey.
Exhortations ? - No thanks !

I make myself very unpopular with many people because I'm using my homepage to try to rouse the Christians with precise words. But I don't do this out of boredom (as I am not bored), but to make them perpetrators of the Word - to people, the Lord had his joy with and with whom he would like to live together in his kingdom from the Last Day on.

The melodious words of many preachers:

"Deeds and works come in Christianity on their own."

It should be so (according to the will of the Lord) actually !

But unfortunately, it is not - because if all those who confess with their lips,
that they love the Lord soooooo much, would put into action what
the Lord had written in his Word (the Bible), then there would be no
hunger on this earth for sure - because it is written:

"For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened. But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality. As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack."
(2 Corinthians 8/13-15)

The first Christians lived according to the commandment
To create a balance between the poor and the rich.

"They sold (their) possessions and goods (their property)
and they shared out among all,
depending had need."
(Acts 2/45)

The cleartext point 088 deals with the topic: Poor and rich.

In cleartext point 195 you will find reasons why there is a
regular flow of refugees to Germany and Western Europe for some time -
And what we can (and must) do about it.

I would like to mention at this point also the cleartext point 149.
Its title: Should Christians abandon everything - and only "mope" ?

At present, many "Christians" just cover themselves with a hypocritical cloak of piety and religion - and are firmly convinced "to get" to Jesus Christ in God's kingdom on the Last Day
solely because of their faith.

The Lord Jesus determines disappointed:

"... This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me."
(Mark 7/6 and Matthew 15/8 and similarly also in Isaiah 29/13)

Numerous "Christians" go to the restaurant to eat, on vacation (often even several times a year) or afford a luxurious cruise to sunny beaches -
While inland, people are silently dying of starvation
or living in dire poverty.

What is important for these "Christians" is that they don't forget their hypocritical prayer before eating -
Or go to church on Sunday to sing praises.
This is their gratitude for the salvation by grace - their "service to God".

Please read the already mentioned cleartext point 137 about grace.

You can find information about the real service to God in cleartext point 041.

And cleartext point 210 contains some inconvenient food for thought about community.

I do not intend to judge such people
because only Jesus Christ has the right - he is the judge.
My job is mere to wake people up.

A homepage reader, for example, wrote me some time ago
the following lines:

"When you come to believe in Jesus Christ, you automatically do
good works, unless you resist them - which would be illogical."

In response, I wrote to him:

"No one fights deliberately against good works, but Satan is very skilled to seduce those who want to become active with inertia,
greed, indifference, selfishness, or to drive them with doubts to passivity. Therefore, the good works, unfortunately, do not come to light - they are missing. "

At this point, I would like to recommend you the cleartext point 058.
It is about how a person can resist Satan.

Many times I have seen people convert to Christianity and they were initially inspired by God and Jesus Christ. Highly motivated, they took their first steps
as a perpetrator of the Word. But after a while, they gradually slipped into inertia -
And are now on a path merely as name Christians, which is not God's way. Whether they ever reach their destination remains questionable under these circumstances.

Information about Christian names can be found in the already mentioned cleartext point 098.

Please read the cleartext point 018 about the subject of inertia.

In cleartext point 019 you will find information about enthusiasm for the Lord.

It is essential to hold on bravely to the end and not to doubt.

(Helpful information on the subject of doubt can be found in cleartext point 062.)

- 3 -

⇑ Here back to top of page ⇑

But how do you manage to motivate yourself to
hold on faithfully, bravely and full of enthusiasm ?

Only when you realise how many sins you committed in the past
(and currently, unfortunately, day after day unintentionally), then you understand how many sins Jesus Christ forgave.

You can not repress that. Because only then a massive gratitude to the Lord arises.

And it is this sincere gratitude that enables us
to be active for the Lord again and again.

Please also read the cleartext point 050 on this topic. Its title is:
From which people can Jesus expect the greatest gratitude -
From the "good guys" or the "bad rascals"?

(You can find information about the gratitude in cleartext point 049.)

Who does not listen very intensively to his inner self "-
Hence doesn't search his sins, is in danger, to be rejected by the Lord as a Name -Christ.
But by recognising one's daily errors, the gratitude to the Lord grows strong -
And ultimately leads to never fading enthusiasm for him -
Which even gets bigger.
Because only through Jesus' forgiveness of sins is it possible
to reach paradise on the Last Day.

So never let Satan seduce you to laziness.
Fight every day the battle for good so that you may bring fruit for the Lord -
Because we are measured by our fruits.

Jesus tells us how he recognises real Christians
(and why we can recognise them too):

"Ye shall know them by their fruits (by their deeds and works)."
(Matthew 7/16)

Jesus warning:

"Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
(Matthew 7/19)

John the Baptist did not only admonish the people living back then,
but also us with hard words:

"O generation of vipers, who hath warned (who has promised),
you to flee from the wrath to come (the judgment of God) ?
... Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance !
(Not just verbally - but in deed ! Not only regret - but also change - i.e. reverse the previous, sinful ways) !
... therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
(Matthew 3/7-10 and Luke 3/7-9)

Paul also admonishes us. He does not speak of the "dear God," who loves all sinners -
Which the preachers of half-truths (see cleartext point 106) claim again and again, but he writes of the seriousness of God:

(You won't find the term "Dear God" in the entire Bible.)

"Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell (God had then already destroyed), severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness (Only if you give yourself real effort to please God) otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."
(Romans 11/22)

⇑ Here back to top of page ⇑

Never forget the warning of Jesus Christ:

"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot."
(If you do not implement the words of Jesus with enthusiasm into action, then you act lukewarm in his eyes.)
"Because thou art lukewarm ...
I will spue (spit) thee out of my mouth." (That is why I do not want you in my kingdom.)
(Revelation 3/15-16)
Jesus' words:

"And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do (to you).
But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear:
Fear him (God), which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him."
(Luke 12/4-5)

Please note that Jesus speaks in the warning just read:

"And I say unto you my friends ..."
(Luke 12/4)

With this warning, he does not want to intimidate his enemies,
but he wants to warn his friends about hell and make them aware of the seriousness of the situation.

(You can find information about hell in cleartext point 142.)

Here's the famous question again:
Do you only believe in "Jesus Christ" - or do you believe his words too ? If you do not believe his words, then you are an infidel for him and God !

He even repeated that warning in other words:

"And fear not them which kill the body (don´t fear men), but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him (God) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
(Matthew 10/28)

Maybe you come up with the idea, to take on sponsorship for a child in the third world to save it from hunger. Please click for this topic in the index on: Child Sponsorship.

If you want to support the needy, then get informed,
so that your donations are used efficiently.

At this point, I would like to recommend cleartext text point 177. It is about the vital issue of efficiency that Jesus Christ expects from us when we put his word into action.

How to find a reputable aid organisation - and how to recognise it, you will learn, if you click in the alphabetically ordered search terms: reputable aid organisations.

Jesus Christ speaks:

"Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel (opaque measuring vessel), but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works ..."
(Matthew 5/15-16)

And it is written:

"And let ours (the true Christians) also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful."
(Titus 3/14)

Every Christian should always make every effort
not to belong to those who preach water - and drink wine.

"Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
Thou that makest thy boast of the law (of God), through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you (because of you), as it is written (Isaiah 52/5)."
(Romans 2/21-24)

On a T-shirt, I once saw the following saying:
"DO NOT QUAKE - MAKE !"

Every Christian should keep these three easy words in mind -
Then the face of this earth could be changed very soon for the better, by fighting hardships and misery through personal renunciation.

(Information on personal renunciation can be found in cleartext point 092.)

Christians should always be reminded of God's reminder:

"For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened. But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality. As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack."
(2 Corinthians 8/13-15)

That would change the whole world !

People of other religions would then look reverently at Christianity,
and perhaps even reconsider their faith and voluntarily follow the Lord Jesus Christ and emulate his role model full of enthusiasm.

I wish you good luck on your way - hold on bravely -
Live as perpetrators of the Word - let your light shine.
Because if all Christians did that, there wouldn't be
so many tears shed on this earth.

That it is worth the perseverance, you can learn in the following bible quotations.

Jesus Christ promises:

"But he that endureth to the end (by perseverance) shall be saved (will get eternal life)."
(Matthew 10/22 and similarly in Matthew 24/13)

"Blessed is the man (and logically also the woman) that endureth temptation: for when he is tried (after he has passed God's tests [see cleartext point 023]), he shall receive the crown of life (eternal life), which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."
(James 1/12)

The Lord promises you:

"Be thou faithful (to God and Jesus) unto death (hold up to your end bravely), and I will (then) give thee a crown of life (i.e., eternal life in God's kingdom)."
(Revelation 2/10)

Jesus' promise is based on the "if-then-principle",
which is very often used in the Word of the Lord.
In this case, it says: If you are loyal and brave,
then you get eternal life in God's kingdom.

For the "if-then-principle" please also read the cleartext point 170.

I would like to recommend at this point the cleartext point 204 with advice, to help you put Jesus' words into action in the long term.

"For we are made partakers of Christ (we belong to him),
if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;"
(Hebrews 3/14)

"Take fast hold of instruction (read in the Bible and the cleartext information); let her not go (do not stop reading this): keep her (think about what you have read - and don't forget it -
And put it into action); for she (the instruction) is thy life (leads you to eternal life)."
(Proverbs 4/13)

"Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought (take care that you do not forget what you have learned from the Bible), but (try hard) that we receive a full reward (eternal life in God's kingdom)."
(2 John 1/8)

"... for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men:
to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:"
(Jeremiah 32/19)

"Be ye strong therefore (brave for the Lord with your good deeds and don't become passive or lethargic), and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded (- At the latest on the Last Day in God's Kingdom.)."
(2 Chronicles 15/7)

"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love,
which ye have shewed toward his name ..."
(Hebrews 6/10)

"And let us not be weary (persevere and not give up)
in well doing (as much and whenever possible):
for in due season (at the latest on Judgement Day)
we shall reap (we will be rewarded),
if we faint not (if we don't fall back to inertia and passivity).
As we have therefore opportunity (up to our life´s end on this earth),
let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."
(Galatians 6/9-10)

"But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing."
(2 Thessalonians 3/13)

- 7 -

⇑ Here back to top of page ⇑

Anyone who does good does something good for the Lord because Jesus Christ explained us:

"... Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren (your fellow men), ye have done it unto me."
(Matthew 25/40)

And what we did not do,
that's what we did to the Lord.
Jesus' words in this regard:

"... Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these (which did not help him through personal renunciation) shall go away into everlasting punishment (into eternal damnation): but the righteous into life eternal."
(Matthew 25/45-46)

Please also read cleartext point 017. Its title:
Not to do something can also be a sin !

Thus, serve the Lord with the deed - he will repay you.

Jesus speaks:

"For the Son of man (Jesus Christ) shall come ...
and then he shall reward every man according to his works (his deeds)."
(Matthew 16/27)

And God says:

"... and I will recompense them according to their deeds (as they deserve, it shall be), and according to the works of their own hands (as their actions were)."
(Jeremiah 25/14)

"Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord ..."
(Ephesians 6/8)

God repays us as we deserve. When we do good,
then we can also expect good from the Lord "as a reward".

"I the LORD ... give every man (on the last day) according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings."
(Jeremiah 17/10)

Your service to the Lord is guaranteed to be rewarded:

"Then shall ye return (on the Last Day), and discern ...
between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not."
(Malachi 3/18)

(What is meant by serving God, you will learn in the already mentioned cleartext point 041.)
